Two people were killed in crash on Boston’s I-93NB.

The Massachusetts State Police is looking into multi-vehicle accident that happened on Saturday and resulted in two fatalities and one injured person. According to authorities, the collision occurred on I-93 northbound in Boston at at 10 p.m. According to state police, tow truck struck ride-share SUV from behind.  The two people riding in the SUV’s back seat died.  According to authorities, the SUV’s driver was seriously hurt and was brought to Massachusetts General Hospital. According to MSP, preliminary examination suggests that the SUV slowed down before being hit by the tow truck. Authorities have named the two victims of the collision as Delanie Fekert, 25, of Floral Park, New York, and Urashi Madani, 25, of North Andover. Only 53-year-old Revere man has been named as the driver of the ride-share SUV. According to authorities, the tow truck’s female driver, who is from Salem, Massachusetts, was unharmed. The collision also involved third car, sedan.  According to state police, the vehicle rammed the tow truck at an angle as it was following it.  State authorities report that the sedan’s driver, woman from Manchester, New Hampshire, suffered no injuries. I-93NB was closed due to the accident until little before a.m.

Investigations continue into the accident’s cause.
