Apex Legends is a game that demands machines to fully enjoy. While it’s one of the most popular free-to-play battle royale games, it still needs a lot of processing power and a top-end graphics card to render the game as devs want players to enjoy. Still, players should worry about the frames per second the game is running at to get a smooth and competitive experience.
Several players put a cap on the FPS their Apex game runs at. Limiting FPS eases the load on the computer to fix issues with the game lag. This can take some work to find the right FPS cap for the computer, but it’s worth a try for players who want a good performance.
Controller players on PC also use this method but offer considerably lower than what most top-end PCs bring to the table due to the game’s aim assist functions. Several good controller players cap their FPS at 144, far below the 200+ FPS. In this article, we will discuss how to set or remove FPS cap in Apex Legends.
